C3 develops in-country strategic alliances with established organizations that can provide that local knowledge and become active participants in project development. These relationships help C3 understand opportunities in their local context, engage effectively with government and institutional stakeholders, identify qualified local resources and navigate the practical requirements of developing infrastructure within the country.
Selecting the Right Partner
C3 evaluates prospective strategic alliance partners based on their professional capabilities, local experience, reputation, institutional relationships and ability to contribute meaningfully to project development. The objective is to establish a working relationship with an organization whose capabilities and local knowledge complement C3’s international project-development resources.
Working Together
The in-country strategic alliance remains engaged as projects develop. Depending upon the opportunity, its role may include identifying and evaluating projects, facilitating government and institutional relationships, providing local technical and regulatory knowledge, coordinating with local professionals and contractors, and supporting implementation.
C3 combines these in-country capabilities with international technical expertise, technology, project development and financing resources to build a team appropriate to each opportunity. The result is a locally grounded development structure with access to the international capabilities required to move complex infrastructure projects forward.
Honduras
INGETISA serves as C3’s in-country strategic alliance for Honduras. Based in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, INGETISA is a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm. The firm maintains professional registrations with Honduran government and financial regulatory authorities and has experience supporting government, financial institutions, industry and private-sector development on projects throughout the country.
Its professional capabilities encompass civil, environmental, mechanical and electrical engineering, architecture, infrastructure planning and design, environmental studies, surveying, project supervision and development.
Within the C3 development model, INGETISA provides the local engineering knowledge, institutional understanding and in-country presence necessary to evaluate opportunities and advance projects within the Honduran environment. Working together, C3 and INGETISA can combine local technical and institutional capabilities with C3’s international project development, technology, specialist and financing resources.
