Thompson Lui has spent the past 25 years working for and growing some of the world’s largest financial services companies, including Wells Fargo Bank and GMAC. With each institution, he obtained significant sales growth in the five Asia Pacific (APAC) countries, and managed HR, finance, legal, and sales efforts.
Financing and Institutional Experience
Thompson has successfully secured project financing through many regional and international development banks such as ICC, IFC, and ADB as well as others. He brings extensive experience in banking compliance as well as in risk understanding and mitigation especially in supply chain finance and factoring.
Thompson has also shown extraordinary skill in negotiation and advocacy with policy makers and regulators.
East and West
He is fluent in English and Chinese, allowing his long-term banking experience to bridge the gap between how the east and west think and operate.
